Life Below Zero: The Thaw
Tuesdays at 8.30pm May 30 until June 18
As winter fades across the arctic, spring arrives bringing rising temperatures and mounting challenges for remote Alaskans. Those living off the grid must work their hardest to hunt, gather, and harvest vital resources before the freeze takes hold again. Where sub-zero temperatures were winter’s biggest foe, spring bears and blood-thieving mosquitos have everyone on high alert. The thaw marks the start of the most taxing time of year in Alaska.
