Auctioneer Sean Kelly is heading across the Atlantic to sell abandoned storage units and lock ups throughout the UK. Will these barmy bidders be able to out-flank, out-gamble and out-maneuver each other? Meet the bidders of Storage Wars UK!
Nat & John
Husband and wife team, Nat and John are seasoned storage hunters and specialise in a huge variety of different items, like taxidermy, “gentleman’s antiques” (wink wink!) and antique furniture. When they’re not bidding on storage lockers, they’re running their own antique shop, Anterior of Astbury in a converted barn.
If there’s profit to be had, pitbull Natalie will be in there with her hand up, even when John doesn’t quite agree.
Smooth talker Dan knows that if there’s profit to be made, the art of the deal is king and with the sales of scrap cars, jewelry and even a burger van behind him, he’s made a tonne of money in this game.
Originally from Surrey, Dan has a mix of arrogance, confidence and charm that will win some of the bidder over, but turn others in to enemies.
Essex girl Linda likes to play the dumb blonde but she’s anything but. It’s all part of her plan to fool the competition and win auctions when the other bidders underestimate her abilities.
With more than 20 years in the business, she’s a well-known face at her local auction rooms and at storage auctions. She might fool the competition, but she’s definitely one to watch.
Having grown up on the fairground, George learned the art of the deal at an early age. With expertise across almost every item you could possibly find in a storage locker (including circus gear!), he is quirky and flamboyant, with an eye for a bargain and he loves to show off his personality in the items he buys and sells.
Colin, better known as internet tradesman, Heavy D isn’t afraid to put his money where his mouth is when it comes to storage lockers…. Sadly that mouth is sometimes not on the money, and he’s the first to admit that he often doesn’t really know what he’s buying.
With his trademark bid (BOOM!) and over the top personality, Heavy D might seem like he has no idea, but somehow comes out on top more often than not. Could it all be an act?
